27. 小肌 Kohada (Gizzard Shads) @ 寿司栄 Sushi Ei, Chiba, Japan. This was actually the reverse shape of Jiro's kohada (he didn't say, I just noticed) as Jiro's original style kohada had the tail end overlapped to resemble the posture of female seating, and this one had the front end overlapped to resemble..... ? Anyway, it was quite strong in vinegary note and obviously marinated quite long with a firmer texture. But this was already one of the more decent nigiri sushi and I was totally feeling this was ok in comparison with other nigiri sushi by little_meg_siu_meg http://bit.ly/1d9Y4ja
