Apologies on the hiatus dear followers, but we at Ohmykase are officially back! Today's #tbt isn’t really that much of a throwback, but features Tanoshi, the Upper East Side sushi bar. We had the opportunity to try this restaurant last night after hearing about it for months on end. The restaurant is composed of two sides and has three seatings per night, a la Sushi Nakazawa. This piece is the Nodoguro or Black Throat Seaperch. The only other place in New York that we have had the pleasure of having this piece was at Sushi Azabu, but it is one of our favorites. Light, but a little rich in its oiliness, the nodoguro at Tanoshi is lightly seared and topped with a little Himalayan sea salt. Absolutely delectable. by ohmykase http://bit.ly/1R87tdf
