Dinner @ 3* Kitashinchi Koryu 北新地弧柳 was one of the meals that I enjoyed more than the other michelin starred restaurants. Although I won't say every course wow me, at least the performance was consistent throughout the meal. Less ups and downs which isn't a bad things. Usage of a lot of produces and ingredients local in Osaka that are not so common in Tokyo or Kyoto. And the price is astonishingly cheap for kaiseki. (My favorite Matsukawa in Tokyo costs about 3 times more). Chef Shintaro Matsuo is humble, affable, one of the nicest and down to earth 3* chefs I have met. by little_meg_siu_meg http://bit.ly/VEaTts
