This a page on #SukiyabashiJiro's ( famous #sushi chef of the Jiro sushi fame) website I took a screenshot of just awhile ago. A friend of my brother's wanted to get reservations for Jiro in May . They ONLY accept reservations on the phone and only on the 1st of the month prior to that. So if you want to go in May, today April 1st was the day to call. I had 2 phones in hand. Chef's choice (omakase) is 30,000 yen ($250 USD) I had all the dates on hand. Started calling at 9 am. Finally got through at 3 pmish only to get an automated message that all seats have been filled for the month of May. 😱😱😱😱I went to the website and indeed it's written on there. I guess it didn't help that a TV program featured a bit of his story last night. I think it piqued more interest than usual. Disappointment for many I'm sure!!! Sooo my question is, is there anybody here who has been to Jiro sushi?
