New sushi bar 🍱🍣 Hiro (by pantry) has just opened in church street Brighton 👌 and you may ask 'what makes this different from any other sushi bar?' Which is a perfectly good question considering melbourne has too many to choose from. Well, firstly, alongside the classic sushi rolls (salmon and avo pictured), they also have a changing menu of more unique specials such as soft shell crab (a fave already -pictured) and pork belly. The baguettes with crispy fried chicken definitely caught my eye, and they do yakitori skewers cooked on demand 👏 but my favourite part was the salads. Pictured is the miso eggplant and tofu salad ($7), perfectly cooked (not too soft) with an amazingly caramelly miso dressing.
