白子のすり流しとれんこんもち (二月中旬) Shirako Soup with Lotus Root Mochi (Mid Feb) @ 晴山 Seizan, Tokyo. First the soup. This was THE BEST dish in this meal and one of the best soups and best shirako dishes I ever had! The soup was insane! So rich like a cream soup, called it cream sauce, but no cream whatsoever, just smooth velvety pureed shirako like a veloute, and studded with the fragrant yuzu which lightened up the whole dish. SO DAXN GOOD! Sushi Kimura also had a shirako soup (that the 2nd meal which I need to post after this) but this was way way better. Every spoon I ooh'ed and ahhh'ed I literally felt "turned on" (whatever that meant LOL).
