Shinji by Kanesaka, Raffles Hotel Singapore - Recently awarded #32 on #asias50best restaurant, making it the highest-ranking sushi anywhere in Asia - yes, including Japan. While that may be down to voting technicalities, Shinji consistently serves up, IMHO, the best sushi anywhere outside Japan for the past 5 years. So good, so authentic, so close to the original Kanesaka that it becomes a double-edged sword : rendering the venerable Ginza main shop less attractive as a sushi destination when visiting Tokyo. by litsfree http://bit.ly/1CdkVFG
