煮物 河豚煮おろし Fugu (blowfish) in grated daikon soup @ Den, Tokyo. Although Den always present food in a creative way, the sequence of food being presented follow exactly like traditional kaiseki. The fugu meat is cooked then deep fried, and combined with a thick soup made with grated daikon. This was perhaps the most traditonal dish of the meal. Another detail point to note, my two male BFF got fugu pieces with bones (and an extra empty bowl to put bones in), while mine (as female) had no bone.
