Sashimi Galore: Aburi Salmon Belly + Hotate Mentai - Personally, I think Sushi Zanmai without a doubt dominates the lower price range of the Japanese restaurants in Malaysia. Its business is surely impressive, especially the Gardens branch which is always seen with a queue, getting a table seems hopeless during peak hours. I am not going to rave about the food because its nothing amazingly good but for the mere Rm4.80 I am paying for a pair of nigiri with aburi salmon belly, it is worth shouting for. Albeit slightly oily and lacking in taste, the half seared salmon belly gladly melts in the mouth with a smoky flavor. I dare say the quality of sushis here are actually on par or better than some places which prices 30% more.
